Anson Pops, Head Instructor
Anson Pops has lived and breathed martial arts since he was eight years old. His mission is to make sure you get that experience too.
Anson began training in Muay Thai under Kru Sincy Outhaivaong at SMO Muay Thai in Steinbach, MB. He has competed extensively as an amateur Nak Muay (the traditional name for a Muay Thai fighter). Anson began teaching Muay Thai in 2012 and has dedicated his time to passing on the tradition of "The Art of Eight Limbs." His passion has led him to pass on to you the ancient tradition of Muay Thai that was taught to him.
Other martial arts experience includes: Judo at the St. Boniface Judo club in Winnipeg, MB under Sensei Darwin Moulten. Anson began competing at nine years old and fought competitively until he was 18. Anson has been decorated in Judo at the provincial, national and international levels. In 2013, Anson also received his black belt from the Winnipeg Sikkaran Arnis Academy.
Anson currently lives and trains in Winnipeg with his wife Beatrice and their three sons Malakai, Willem & Jonathan
